In 1908 Henry's family had an interesting family studio portrait done. At the time this photograph was taken, both Henry and his wife Mary were 61 years old and all their children were now adults and the second generation of Henry’s descendants had begun to be born. 

In 1908 Henry’s eldest daughter Lena had already been married to the Dentist, Frank Burrows for 11 years. When this photograph was taken Henry had his first two grandchildren seen in the picture below, Harrie Burrows, aged 10 years, and Elsie Burrows, aged 8 years.

In the photograph from the back row, left to right there is Henry’s youngest son, Fred (Frederick Thorsen) Hansen aged 22 years. Next to Fred is his older sister Oll (Olla Maria) Hansen aged 31 years and last at the back is Henry’s oldest son, Lou (Louis Anders) Hansen who is aged 28 years in this photograph.

Seated is Frank (Francis Thomas) Burrows aged 43 years, then Mary Hansen (nee Higgins) aged 61 years, next is Henry Hansen also aged 61 years and lastly seated in the middle row is Lena (Helena Dagmar) Burrows (nee Hansen) aged 35 years.

The two grandchildren in 1908 are Elsie Burrows and Harrie Burrows sitting cross-legged on the floor on cushions.
